I've never been a fish person but since I started at a seafood restraunt I've been trying them lately. So far I've eaten tilapia, trout, salmon, snapper, and halibutt. Out of those I like the tilapia and trout. The salmon is just way too fishy tasting. Anywho, I know a lot of you are more knowledgable than me on fish so recommend me some fish to try and recipes (preferably not too difficult to cook, I'm still learning :)).

And really I'm just looking for recipes in general. Doesn't have to be fish, I'm just on a fish kick. And are shrimp easy to cook?

straight out of the surf, bled and gutted, then iced and cooked within a few hours, you can't beat it, and not fishy tasting at all...

Or dhufish/pink snapper

Sashimi?

No cooking required. Eat with wasabi, soy sauce and thinly sliced young ginger.
