I just cloned windows into my new ssd and I think it's my primary now

But it's still kind of small compared to my old drive. Anyway to clean my SSD while still using it as my primary, or control the amount of data that gets downloaded on the ssd, and to download everything on my bigger secondary while still using the ssd as my primary?

Um, yes, just download stuff to your HD instead of the SSD. Most programs ask where you want to save it.
