Well,

I have never built an Intel based PC before and I just built a Pentium 4 2.0Aghz system without any probs 🙂

I have to say, how damn easy was the fan to put on!!! I wish we could start having Socket A fans that have a really easy clip down module like the Coolermaster IAC-002!

I am now installing XP Pro, can't wait to see how she performs...I am gonna run SETI over the weekend!

That's a sizeable fleet you have there 🙂 Now update your sig with that new Northwood and if the board supports overclocking get that badboy ramped up and watch the WUs fly 😎

I was really impressed.....looked less easy to damage than an AMD processor too, not that they get damaged often.....

It's actually a work test PC......I count running SETI on it for a week as a good test! 🙂....I may try overclocking it at somepoint....is there a similar unlocking procedure?.....it has Softmenu III in the bios.

Just get a good heatsink with a screwless clip, and the socket A is even easier.
I respectfully disagree with that statement and I think many others will as well, no way is mounting the vast majority of sktA coolers easier or safer than even a stock P4 cooler.

p4's cannot be unlocked to change mutlis, you can only overclock by raising the fsb
