I just bought these a few days ago.

"It has no bass at all" ?!?!?!?

Thats an 8" SW.
If it has no bass then I think the PEBKAC.

Make sure its hooked up properly and check your advanced volume settings.
Sometimes Windows turns down Bass and Treble to nil by default.

But if you really want to hear it, buy a Klipsch Ultra 5.1.
You cant lose the bass in that.

Yeah...make sure the dial knob on the back of the sub is turned up. I got the z-3s for my fiancee, it sounds great and has plenty of bass. And I hope you didn't pay $70 for those! Those go on sale for $19.99 occasionally.
 
Oh and if that isn't enough for you, check out the Logitech z-2200s, basically a 200w version of the z-3s. They came out with a newer version of them, so check newegg or google. I use the z-2200s with my laptop and they're great as well 🙂

if that doesn't do it for you...get an SVS sub maybe.
