I just bought Half Life 2

Just about to install it, I wanted it cheaper but I couldn't wait any longer, I hope I didn't make a mistake I was going to order BF2 but this was there now.

i just bought it too like 2 weeks ago. probably the 2nd PC game i ever bought. (1st being 'Doom II')
i hope you bought your's thru Steam, cuz i think you get more games (including HL1) for a similar price. i paid 55 @ CompUSA and noticed the Steam deal later.

HL2 kicks ass. It has to be one of the greatest single player PC games I have ever played... period.

I want to buy and play HL2 but I'm scared I won't be able to play/enjoy due to motion sickness.

I just wanted it for Multiplayer, I played a couple rounds looks good, but I think I would have liked BF2 alot better, plus I just got Swat 4 a couple weeks ago and really like that.

I love half life and HL2 but I hate Counterstrike.....I much prefer soldier of fortune 2 for multiplayer...

That is what I thought about it after I bought Doom 3.

You can increase the screen size so you dont get the motion sickness.

Steam seems ok to me, took awhile to download and update everything about an hour, but I think I should have gotten BF 2 instead HL2 Counter Strike dosen't seem the best I like Swat 4 better so far, might be because I suck at it so bad.

Sucking usually = dislike for many ppl. It might help to read my CS tips here. That said, I hope you aren't ignoring HL2 itself. I completed it recently and it was superb.

I had to stop playing this game because it made me sea sick/motion sickness. Can you explain more in detail of this problem? I can play other FPS no probblem

I had HL2 and CSS installed before I got my replacement HDD (seagate barracuda 200GB ATA). Since I installed windows just yesterday I can't be bothered to install the game again, or steam for that matter. It doesn't really matter anyway since Battlefield 2 is the only game I'll be playing for a while.

i bought hl2 from newegg for 30 dollars shipped last week, and it's such a fun game, I even enjoy just playing cs against the bots.

I downloaded a timed demo of some guy completing HL2 in about 1 hr 30 mins.....insane....he hardly fired his gun at all!! he just ran past everything...must have been using a health cheat.....but I have ruined the game for myslef....I am only about half way through but I really can't be bothered playing anymore seeing as nothing really happens apart from much of what happens earlier on...

i got it on ebay for $20, im not sure how legit it was but I was able to download from Steam w/o any problems.
