A family friend of mine was looking to digitize all their music, and since they're around 60, they wanted something really easy to use. Sonos looked like the right option, and we only needed one Sonos box, since they already have a Bose (I know, I know) multi-room system. Total cost was around $1100 for the controller, Sonos box, and NAS (for storing all their CD's). They've offered me $200 to import 100 CD's and set up the Sonos. Not much, but since they're family friends, I wasn't going to charge them to begin with.
If I like the way the Sonos works enough, I'll get one for my house too 🙂.
