I just bought a Neo Geo Pocket Color from a guy off craigslist.org for $30. This included the original system, plus a game, both with original boxes and manuals. This is also an original Japanese system, and it's been played so little it still has the original working Japanese batteries. The game is a fairly uncommon Japanese only release.
Just a little history:
I'm sooooo addicted to this little outdated thing because I love the SNK arcade games, I've been looking into getting one of the console system (AME or whatever) and they're NOT cheap. Looking at about $300 for a system that plays the exact games that were in the arcades, but they're $150+ a pop just because they're so rare.
Help?
Just a little history:
The Neo Geo Pocket Color (or NGPC) was released in 1998 in Japan. It was a 16-bit color hand held game console designed by SNK, the makers of the Neo Geo home console and arcade machine. It came after SNK's original Neo Geo Pocket monochrome handheld, which debuted in 1998 in Japan (and was released in the USA in 1999). The U.S. version of the Neo Geo Pocket Color had an exclusive launch on the website eToys in 1999. eToys also sold the initial launch titles in the preferred plastic snap lock cases.
