lol :D I liked a Beautiful Mind, it's one of those movies that's good to have around to watch every once in a while. The special features are pretty cool though :)

Rant on:

I've rented some movies @ Blockbuster & Hollywood Video that couldn't have been more than two weeks old. I couldn't believe the amount of scratches that were already on the DVD. What do people do, rub their rental DVDs on sandpaper before returning them? I don't know why it's so hard to handle something in a proper manner - and people can't take care of things. Paying $4.00 to rent a movie entitles you to "watch" it, but it doesn't entitle you to "abuse" it.

Rant off:

Hank, The movie "A Beautiful Mind" is a good movie. I found parts of it to be quite inspiring. Since the movie was released, I've seen the real guy in a few TV interviews and his real son suffers from the same disease that he does. It's all based in Princeton where the guy still lives. However, I don't usually watch movies more than once, so I don't purchase DVDs.

picked this movie up at Blockbuster for the same deal as wje. And i too have had bad experiences renting movies at blockbuster and hollywood video, with the dvd's being all scratched up and unplayable. So i asked the guy if there was bad scratching on the disc could i return it, and he gladly opened up the cases, inspected the dvd's himself, and let me inspect them too before i bought them. I'd advise anyone to do the same before taking discs home for rent or purchase.

i was at blockbuster with my friend and i told him to ask the cashier to let him check out the 2 dvds before he bought them. the dumb bitch at the counter is like "no. you must buy them first!" what a bunch of wankers at ballbuster video.
