I have lived on a $300 piece of crap for the last 14 years and I finally had enough.
I bought a "Simmons World Class Euro Top" something or other...
Of course it's not listed on Simmons website as apparently it's some kind of custom order for the company (What better way to confuse a customer than by making it one of a kind and not anywhere on the internet to compare)...
Something like 1073 coils, it's soft on top...
It must have been the easiest sale for the guy ever. I said I wanted something soft, in a queen size and <$2000.
He showed me this $2700 mattress and gave it to me for $1479. Took me less than 20 minutes.
As far as I know the model is "Imperial Royale"
What I've got on my bill is "3-8959M B/R Imperial Royale CT QN MA"
If the mattress is indeed overpriced, I don't take delivery for another 2 weeks and have "100% refundable deposit" marked on my bill because I told the guy I would take a day or so to think about it.
PS, I'm in Canada so my $1479 is $1188 USD.
Edit: The bed itself was only $1106 (I paid $306 for the box spring according to the bill)
