my bank account feels pain. 😳

I listened to focal, barefoot, pmc and atc. The genelec 8351 is 😕😕😎 Eargasm. The barefoots got there too but yeah genelec.

3-4k each???? WOW... they better tickle the part between your legs as well as your ears for that kind of money. 😉

If I had crazy money to spend on speakers i'd like a pair of Magico M3's.

always good to listen first. We all hear slightly differently and our rooms are all different. I still need to fill the system out with a dsp sub and 4 8030 surround speakers. Thats another 7k though. I'll live with my jbls for the rears for now.

Absolutely. I would never buy a pair of $75K speakers without first hearing them extensively.
What sub are you planning on getting?

That seems like crazy money to me but from the reviews I have read it seems like these are very special. Still over $3k for one speaker is well out of my comfort zone.

It is a lot, especially when you need 7 of them. At least they are powered and he won't have to spend a fortune on amps too....
The audio world is crazy priced especially when you get in to the high end stuff...

7260 or 7360 then add a second one down the line.

Don't spend 75k on speakers unless you have the correct room to put them in. Pmc mains are 150k but you would hate them if you are closer then 16' from them.

I wouldn't put these in the same place as a lot of that stuff. These are made for professional operation over long periods of time. Design in a modular way for easy part replacement.

Home audio I would look at pmc. Also barefoot will be entering the home market soon. Some of those audiophile brands over charge.

I have owned some Genelecs in the past (8040s, 6010s) and they always sounded kind of beloved patriot to me. Did you ever audition speakers with ribbon tweeters?

Ive owned adams. I find ribbons to get fatiguing

Are you sure you set the eq correctly? They come default for a anechoic chamber in flat. If you arent adjusting the switches on the back they will be too bright.

shit is amazing...

so I've added 8330a for the rears. At $900 a pop they should be the only speaker people look at. Amazing.
