Just purchased 100 (+4 extra he had) iTunes codes for free songs from a random guy from the hardforums. He seemed pretty legit, had a good story as to why he had the codes and why he was selling them. He even offered for me to pay $5 down, he would send me 25 codes, I would confirm they worked, and he'd send the other 75 for the $15 left.
I paid $5 down, but he sent 50 codes, along with a note that he'd send the other 50 once he called his uncle to get them from his laptop. Then I would pay him the rest of the money. He sent all 100, plus an extra 4 he said he found that I could have as a gift. All of them accepted fine, with no problems.
Only thing is, now that I sit back and think about it, is this too good to be true? Maybe there is a scam going around that I don't know about it. I'm going to purchase a few songs that I've been meaning too anyhow, and pay the rest of his money in an hour or two.
