Hi,

Not to worry... I had it when I was in high school. It was really strange... began with this scaly rash on my arm (it's called the "herald patch") followed by a weird rash appearing randomly on my body. Dermatologist took one look at it and diagnosed it as P. Rosea. I got some cream for the rash, but she said that since it's a virus it just has to run its course. It's not harmful, but I know it is annoying. But just like she had said it was fully gone within a week or two. And once you get it you won't get it again.

Dermatologist took one look at it and diagnosed it as P. Rosea.

They have the shortest office visits of any doctor. Once your clothes are off they look for a few seconds, diagnose, prescribe a treatment (assuming they don't have to biopsy or excise your lesion), and send you a nice bill . . . what a racket!

OMG, I think I might have this. I've been getting itchy spots on my arms, legs and stomach that look a lot like this. But mine has lasted for 5 or more years (I'm too scared to go to a doctor -- haven't been to one for almost 30 years I think).
