Ok, I have a huge list of questions. I understood clear cut what happened in the first one, but this one I dont understand at all:
What is city 17?
Why is there a city 17?
What happened in the past 10 years to Gordon Freeman?
Where did the combine come from?
Are the combine soldiers even human?
What happened on earth for the past 10 years?
Why did Gordon Freeman just "show up" in city 17?
Who's side are the headcrabs on, and where are those pods launching from?
Why does the evil scientist keep saying he is trying to save humanity, what is he saving humanity from?
Why are the aliens on your side?
I probably have a few more, but thats what I could think of.
Overall the game was good, but not above and beyond my expectations. I still think FarCry is better, and halflife 1 is also better.
Rants
I think the ending of the game was crappy, and the last part of the game with the "suped up" gravity gun was kind of cheesy. I also think that the soldier A.I. in halflife 1 was better, it got kind of boring fighting the same combine guy over and over.
I can't help but feel that in the game you did anything worthwhile, besides just get to the citadel as quickly as possible and help out people along the way. It would have been cool to have some sort of sense of accomplishment, maybe tear down the combine flag and but the resistance flag in the city after the fight would be an example. Little things like this would have made the game a little better instead of the feeling "Hey Im gordon freeman, people are trying to kill me but I kill them first. Whoops, gotta go"
praises
The game produced some memorible moments though, the city fight was great and the best part of the game was in Nova Prospect, I loved having control of the antlions  The airboat ride was cool, but dragged on a little long. Ravenholm was cool, loved the monk guy and the crazy traps. The car ride was also cool, I liked the part when you go under the bridge.
Oh yeah, I also like CS: S too.
