A bit late as it's in my tummy now. Here's what's left of it :p

That's a tiny ass cup, in America that would be the size of a free sample at a lot of places :D

ok i had to look it up since i have never heard of it... it looks disgusting! ...but it sounds really good. but not something you want to eat often.

Agreed. It's looks like something you need to try when you're too young to know better or be really drunk.

Poutine looks like someone with a digestive disorder took shit in a bowl on top of some french fries. I'm sure it's delicious, but the name and the look are about as unappealing as anything I can imagine.

either that's a 1" long fork or your sense of perception is way off.

You can tell how deep the cup is. I'd say it's a small-medium sized cup for chili or soup.

probably standard cup size, maybe larger.

It's a medium poutine.

Save it Captain Corpulence. He won't understand. They don't have "medium" like we do. Their sizes start from "Large". They didn't become glutton-extraordinaires while sitting on their butts, eating supersized meals and sipping cafe mochas....or wait :hmm:

Poutine is the reason they invented open heart surgery, but damn it's worth it.

There's like 30ish stands around here this summer. Seems to be more and more every year, and they all make a lot of money. I think the number of chip stands has almost surpassed the number of Tim Hortons.

I'll be in Canada next week. Can I get decent poutine in Ontario?

Should be able to. Look for the busiest chip stands, they probably have the best one. I think it's more in Northern Ontario though but I'm sure Southern has a lot too.

Worse case scenario there's New York Fries which is a chain so you should find them pretty much anywhere, I'd rate it above average as well, and they make awesome hot dogs.

Heh. There's a sweet local bar around here that serves poutine. Good stuff.
