I installed Qcheck, now need some help...

Well I installed Qcheck, to find out how fast my network connection is...

I was thinking that I can sent and recieve at a rate of about 100Mbits...

Well, now how do I use that program? I installed Endpoints on both computers, but where can I test how fast my network really is,,,

When I transfer files, it takes very long, so I am thinking, that my connection should be lower than 100Mbits/s...

How do I use that program???

I put localhost for Endpoint 1 and what do I enter for Endpoint 2??? Localhost again???

That way it works, but it wouldn't test the network or?

Now I tried putting the IP addresses of my server and the client... that looks better... But I still don't really know how to get to a number that I could compare to 100Mbits transferrate...

Testing the protocol TCP option throughput:

Results:
Protocol
TCP

Start Time
12.03.2002 20:31:46

Stop Time
12.03.2002 20:32:15

Data Size
1000 kBytes

Throughput
284,505 kbps

Can anyone tell me what exactly that means???

Don't know, somehow it doesn't work, and the sites support isn't that well, but I guess, I need to find a more realistic way to tell how fast my connection is...

from server to client transfers are slower than the other way round, that cannot be, so I am a little confused, and didn't find any help and the readme file doesn't include any more than a link...
