I'm sure it disgusts the mods as much as it does you or I, LOB, but I'm not sure that they'll be able to track those responsible down. Even if they could, could they actually do something about it? The messages happened over AIM, not over these forums. Is there any concrete proof that the person is a user here? The mods have a long reach, but I'm not sure that they can justifiably reprimand someone under those circumstances. It'd be nice if they could. Perhaps they could nail them for harrassing users? At any rate, those AIMs are directed at upsetting you. Rise above this, show them what you and other Anandtechers are made of. It's upsetting and disgusting, yes, but don't let whoever's responsible see you squirm. Don't help spread the hate. It will make them feel as if they've won. Stand tall. Ignore them. Justice will be served, but it won't happen over AIM.
