Who did the Clinton administration attack? They attacked David Koresh, who hadn't attacked anyone, sure he was a weird dude, but they didn't need to burn all those women and children. So Bush decides to go after anyone that is trying to attack the US, and you call him a facist? You people live in a different World, than I do.

It's good to keep that list handy with some notes about their posting tactics. Once you realize their posting patterns you might be able to help yourself decide which issues are worth debating. I thought it was the Dems that wanted the draft back?!?! That was a major item that Al Sharpton was talking about a few months back.
If you make it a draft army again then you'll certainly have people thinking twice about skipping of to war. I honestly think the draft would be a major benefit for the Democrats, not the Repulicans.
Anyway... I'm all for it.

...I think it's dumb to polarize around a president or political party. It's like watching WWF Professional wrestling. You've got to pick a side but your choice is between 2 big, not-too-bright combatants with the moral equivalency of your mailbox. Nevermind there might be real wrestling out there, it's not televised!
As for the draft, I wish we had an elitist version. Something to the effect of all first-born children of the president, vice, and all congressmen must fight in any conflict as infantry, going in with the first wave. Then in my heart I would truly know any war, delcared or not, was truly just. I guarantee you would never have a shortage of volunteers in that case either.

Interesting reference. I believe Clinton originally proposed getting rid of terrorists (remember the nerve gas factory we hit with cruise missles) and we all criticized him and called him an "idiot" who took "unneccesary" action.

He has a big list of people he can't handle in a real debate so he goes around behind their backs trying to undermine their credibility claiming that they are the ones being eaten by hate. Bush is great on security, but I like his domestic agenda even better, especially the economics side of things.
