He did, kinda. He now lies more than ever before. It's symptomatic of a collapsing con game.

Trump probably is lying, that’s not the point. It seems crazy to automatically assume Obama's innocence though. Whether they are a compulsive liar or not doesn’t mean they are guilty/innocent of corruption. But since that’s the arguement being made here is a 5-second Google search

http://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/365393-how-quickly-ny-times-forgets-obamas-lies-and-frauds

And certainly don’t forget the whopper of wmd's from Bush. Politicians lie. Politics corrupts.
That is an opinion piece that itself contains several lies. For example, that retard flat out states that the Obama admin started fast and furious. Oh, while I have your attention, go fuck yourself .

Yes and no. The Justice Department is part of the Executive Branch, but operates independently. Sort of. They don't answer to the President as such, but the Attorney General is appointed by the President as part of his Cabinet. Do the math. Hilary managed to stay out of jail because Bill and Barack ordered their DOJs on what to pursue and what not to pursue.

4 years, no indictments != witch hunt
1 year, many indictments = Hillary and Obama are to blame

You, sir, are a daft twat...

Donald Trump said 11 false things in just 5 tweets Sunday morning

Trump - "I hereby demand, and will do so officially tomorrow, that the Department of Justice look into whether or not the FBI/DOJ infiltrated or surveilled the Trump Campaign for Political Purposes - and if any such demands or requests were made by people within the Obama Administration!"

And don't come back until you have the answer I want!

I mean, exactly what answer do you think he will accept? So far, not one item has been shown to have been for 'political' reasons - and since most of it began 'during' the election, of course it was 'made by people within the Obama administration.

His little investigation could take a day, at most. One page, one paragraph: "We looked, and found evidence that the investigation into the Trump campaign's links to Russia were politically motivated or ordered by the Obama Administration. Now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!"

Ozzy - "Mental wounds not healing / Life's a bitter shame. I'm going off the rails on a crazy train"

What the hell is this?

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/05/18/us/farm-bill-collapses.html

"Republican moderates"

What is that? A new kind of breed? Seems like they need 25 of these and they all ready have 20 "moderate republicans" to save DACA. Ryan is on rocky ground. End of days?

Moderates. Hmmm.. Those positioning themselves to survive the fallout of an imploding GOP mayhaps?

Someone should get #moderaterepublican trending

Those are RINOs and they must be purged by fire in the primaries.

A number of formally powerful people are in for some big, big trouble. By all means stick with those lying media sources that help you sleep at night. But gird your loins because it's going to get messy.

Rosenstein is going to comply. He's handing off the investigation who will look for " inappropriate" use of an informant.

Nicely played.

Yea tossing it over to the IG buys some time. Doubt Trump will be patient for long especially if indictments start to rain down on Trumpworld as is being broadly speculated will come to pass.

I hereby demand that he be called the Sissy in chief.
I disagree, Cadet Bone spurs should be labeled the Draft-dodger in chief.:p He's got enough stamina to chase golf balls and porn stars all day but couldn't serve his country's military.:eek:o_O

The IG is also the proper person to investigate abuse. I don't think Horowitz is going to succumb to political pressure which means he'll be on the Trump/Nunes hit list and that will eventually bite them.

It’s truly amazing that apparently boomerang has consumed so much right wing media that he actually believes that what is going to be uncovered isn’t massive Trump corruption but corruption by Obama.

What a weird world that guy must live in.

Here's a trivia quote

Trump is playing 96D chess, he is bigly smart. This is just a front to give Mueller more cover to go after Hillary and Illuminati. While Sessions shuts down the Pizza Parlors.

I had to look it up. Ahh, the original series. Just last night I watched the episode where Kirk teams up with Abraham Lincoln to fight Ghengis Kahn and a Klingon in blackface.

Ahh the heroes we need today. If we could travel back a couple or three decades and were asked what was the bigger fiction, that episode or our situation involving Trump today I couldn't pick one. They are both absurd.

I’m just now realizing we are in the middle of the 50 year anniversaries of when the original series started and finished and they are still absurdly wonderful.

Does that prove the Obama admin's innocence?

Of course not but it's beyond silly to take anything Trump says seriously as he lies constantly, about everything. On this issue specifically Trump has repeatedly made wild, unsupported claims about abuses by Obama that all turned out to be lies. If we're being rational and objective about this topic anything and everything Trump says should be dismissed out of hand due to his long history of lies. If another, actually credible source shows evidence of wrongdoing then that would be something worth considering.

Another thing that seems to have been glossed over here though is the absolutely catastrophic damage Trump and Nunes are doing to the US intelligence community by deliberately burning a US intelligence asset for political purposes. What sane person would want to work for the US as an intelligence asset now? Our promises that we will protect people's identities can no longer be taken seriously.
