porcelain-enamel coating was coming off the grill grates when using the bristle brush.

i called weber customer service, got an english speaking customer service rep, explained the problem, received a suggestion for how to clean them in the future since the rep had the same issue on her grill, and finally was informed that my replacement grates would be arriving via fedex ground within 7-10 business days.

these days, with so many problems dealing with poor customer service at other companies, it's refreshing dealing with competent customer service.

truly, weber cs rocks. here in co they changed the propane tank connector several years ago, i was all ready to go buy a new hose, called weber, they shipped me one for free. i love my weber grill!!!
