If your child has problems "lying" or does a really bad job at lying (making the lie blatantly obvious) he/she may have austism or something? I thought it was the strangest thing but I've been thinking of it agian and have really no idea if it's true.

I'm slightly autistic but I'm also a pretty good liar.
However, anecdotal evidence doesn't (dis)prove anything.

As if a child that age is going to be an experienced liar in the first place. Sounds like a load of crap to me unless they've got some hard scientific evidence to back it up.
