since early March and I'm perfectly ok with that. I would say that I've saved a lot of money but my gambling luck has taken care of that. I feel better now.

I haadn't upgraded mine since last January, until last week. 🙂

You know you want to be able to play HL2. 😛

I haven't upgraded since November of last year, when I upgraded to play FFXI. I've had to replace a couple broken parts, though (had some ram that failed, and my dvd burned crapped out last month).

I haven't upgraded anything in over a year.

Had to replace a motherboard and hard drive in that time though.. It's a better MB but... I don't think of it as an upgrade....

I have kids so anything I don't spend THEY do though... 🙁

I haven't upgraded since August of last year. It's starting to wear on me. I just configured a new computer for my dad and now I'm jealous.

I haven't upgraded Ram, CPU, or video since October of 1998. Yes, I have a piece of crap PC at home. However, it plays solitaire and minesweeper without any lag 😉

Last upgrade: August, '04

Last upgrade previos to that one: August, '02

2 years is a good stretch. What I have now will probably last me that long. Maybe I'll throw some new ram/vid card in in a year or so. we will see.

I haven't upgraded since I built the system(pretty much top of the line) back in August '02.

It still serves me very well. Runs Doom3 sufficiently.

if I cant play it with an a64 3200, 512 ddr and a 9800 pro then I dont want to play it.

Considering your computer really isn't that bad you should cut the sob story
