I haven't seen any news on AM2+ SLI Motherboards!

Unless I'm totally blind but I've been watching news for information on upcoming motherboards from Nvidia. Where the heck is the information? I plan on purchasing a new mobo and processor to replace my skt 939 rig, but have no idea what's coming. Should I wait? I see the 790FX mobo on Newegg for 270. Way too overpriced for me, plus its new on the market. I'm willing to pay the extra buck for it, but I have not seen anything besides that with HT3 links and changing voltages.

Do you think the best way to go is with the 790FX motherboard? Looks like a feature packed board and I hear that AMD is coming along with overdrive for individual core overclocking.

If anyone has any information, it'd be graciously accepted :)

I'm gonna wait. I just don't see the benefit in AM2. Until I see what the Phenom will do I'll just stick with my 939 SLI.

Yea, but I think AMD will perform on par with at least the Core 2 Quad.
I got DDR2 1066 already, 4GB of it to be exact. I'd like to go Nvidia route for the motherboard but I'd like to have everything ready to go too. Crossfire doesn't really thrill me seeing as I have an 8800GTS already.

I can barely even play crysis on my pc now.

I have an
Opteron 165 @ 2.45ghz
2GB of DDR400
320GB SATA 3.0
8800GTS 640MB OCed

I know looks pretty good but crysis just eats it. I have Vista Ultimate 64bit and 60% memory usage, and if I got more memory, it'd just cost way more.

Unreal Tournament 3, oh mai!!!! 100% CPU usage jeez.

The 12th of November has come and gone and no sign yet of these nForce 780a's 750a's

I'm in the market for a new rig and if it wasnt for the sorry state of affairs for the 780i I would be going intel with SLI.

Lets see next week if Nvidia can launch in parrallel with AMD so we can see Phenom in SLI as well as Crossfire configs and let the benchmarks help us who can't decide weather to stick with AMD rigs or head over to the blue corner and pickup a Intel rig with Overclocking headroom to spear.
