I have white circles around my eyes... What up with that?

The area under my eyes appears white, as if I was sun burnt whilst wearing sunglasses. It's usually only noticeable when I blush. I've noticed this for years, but I've never been sure of the cause. Of course I could ask my doctor, but I always forget to ask when I'm there.

Any ideas? I can find no mention of this phenomenon online.

haha. only happens when you blush? IT'S CALLED BLUSHING! The blood that rushes to your cheeks has to come from somewhere. 😉 Don't worry, you're not going to fall over and die, although if you really want to check, you could always call a dermatologist or your regular doctor. after all, ATOT aren't exactly medical professionals.

You missed my point. I am well aware of what happens when I blush; I was merely citing an example of when the discolouration is noticable. For example, whenever my face goes red from blushing, working too hard, getting mad, etc.

I know the ATOT lot aren't doctors, but I was curious if anyone knew of this odd phenomenon. I could book an appointment...

You mean whenver the blood in your face get's moved around because some areas are drawing more of it? You missed thomsbrains' point.
