They aren't worth much, I'm sure but where would I go to get a decent price on selling these two space takers.

A pawn shop, perhaps?

I can't seem to find anyone who wants to buy them.

shinerburke, do you know any place in Tulsa that buys second hand computer stuff?

Descartes, you?

Thx.

Blurry pic - my bad.

<< did you post them in for sale/trade?

what condition is the display?
what size??

Nah, I'm not going to bother with FS/FT. I'm not going to try shipping them out so no FS/FT.

<< Maybe donate them to the salvation army, then write it off on your taxes. >>

Good Idea. Question is when you write off charitable donations, are you doing this when you itemize?

You have itemize your deductions in order to take advantage of the tax write off.

You could also stop by your local school's district office or library and ask are they taking donations - most of them will.

I threw it away at one of them flea market places cuz they had this place for the junk people don't sell. We went inside the farmer's market there to get some friuts and veggies and the monitor was gone when we came out.:Q

BTW, it was an old 15 inch Compaq monitor, it was sorta broke too...

What size are they? Do they work? I know guys that would probably give you something for them. They take old PC parts, clean them up, and build systems that they donate to schools, poor kids, etc...

yup - do that - but donate them - It'll put a smile on your face :D <--like that! I have started to collect a bunch of old stuff that is still usable to take to the local club that rebuilds systems and donates them to non profit orgs and schools.

its hard to tell from the pic what model/size they are, the multi-media one looks like a 14 or 15 incher, so give that one away

if the other one is a "P" model or a 17 incher, i would pay you the next time i drive through there on my way to dallas to visit my brother, post the model numbers

At the Optiquest/Viewsonic website, they have a link to take back used monitors and give you a discount on a new monitor from them. Check the monitor sites out for trading them in towards the monitor of your dreams.:)
