Im going to get a P4 1.8a and overclock it to to 2.4+. So i need a mobo that will be stable and overclock well. Ive narrowed it down to the epox 4sda or the epox 4g4a. I like how the 4g4a has the pci/agp lock, but i like how the 4sda is cheaper. However the 4sda doesn't have the pci/agp lock im pretty sure. Is this pci/agp lock even neccessary? I will be overclocking to 2.4 at first and most likely 2.7 later on which is from what i hear very possible. All i want to do is mess around with the fsb and overclock that, i really don't want to mess around with the pci/agp settings etc, will i? if i go with a mobo without the pci/agp lock? please guys enlighten me a bit, and tell me which one you reccommend, budget is real tight and i need a good mobo 92 or lower. The 4g4a is 92 and the 4sda is only 84!

thanks guys.

edit: ive been thinking, should i go with the 1.6a or the 1.8a? i will be using pc2100 ram, and i MUST hit 2.4 or else, which one?

thanks again.

sorry I didn't see the cpu question:) Well, I would go for the 1.8A because if you get the 1.6A you would need to oc the ram to some extent (ie DDR300) but with the 1.8A you can oc to 133fsb and use the 1:1 divider to get stock PC2100 (and you can still try to hit DDR333 as well)
