I am having a hard time concentrating, I think I have the flu..bad thing is I need to make an 87 on my cal 3 final or I will get my first C in college..I just wanted to bitch...
 
hah, same thing here. I don't have finals but I have a big Physics exam which I wouldn't be able to make up... and a sh1tload of English homework. I feel horrible and it's so hard to concentrate on anything. the flu is screwing me over big time. 🙁
 
about all you can do is tough it out and leave for the day as soon as you're done with the finals. this week last year i had pneumonia and the finals system was spread out over three days, each day there was a final in one class from 8am-9:45am and 1:15pm-3pm so I had to stay the entire three days 🙁
 
well I have one final on wed but i dont think it will be that bad..its calc that im screwed on..time to pop some more pills

you go to NU?? All the math finals are tomorrow there. I have a differential equations final, and well, i am scared as f*ck. Once i get past the core differential equation stuff, i fall apart🙁
 
good luck man.

i was sick last week during finals.. by teh end of the second final i was sooo out of it.
pissed me off to,because the next day i remembered i made a silly mistake on the test.
 
Id rather be sick in a final than having a final where the passing of the course rides on the mark you get on the final (Yes, a mark greater than a pass. - ie. having a failing mark walking into the exam. ). Those are the kind of situations where you get people walking into an exam, sitting down, opening the exam and running out crying.

you need to suck it up and do what you need to do. you have all winter break to recuperate, and it will be well worth it to take whatever abuse you need to now. good luck
 
reminds me of when i had massive tummy problems and a fever the night before ...
moral of the story is don't eat bread, milk, and eggs the night before an important event
