guys i have a 2 question's here i really am wondering what it is.. firstly what is "clock speed" like my pc is a p 3 800EB Mhz does the mean my clock speed is 800Mhz ??????? lastly why do ppl write
"pentium 2 400@200" what does the mean ??>..... THankz Guys..se ya..

the clock speed of your P3 is 8 your p3 is running at 8x100=800 the 100 is the speed of your front side buss. and people dont run their cpus at 400@200 that would be a under clock you ment to put 200@400 look at my sig Im running my cpu at 10x145=1450 which is 1000@1450 hope this helps.

Actually I've heard a couple say that underclock to get a lower operating temp.

And to clarify, a little, what Renob said. If you see something like Athlon 1000@1450, this means the Official speed of the processor was 1GHz (the 1000), but it is overclocked to 1.45GHz.

Drewski I think it was the volts they were running under default setting.
