I have to work 12 hours today

My boss decides to go away to Madison, Wisconsin on Friday. He won't be back til Monday. This means I have to work, by myself, 12 hours today.

I have to be there at 10:00 AM or so to be open at 11:00 AM.

The worst part is I have to take the bus to work.

We are closed Sunday.

This just sucks.

i had to get up at 7 to walk my sisters dogs because the ****** dog walker doesnt work on the weekends,

you at least are getting paid

for some. I somehow am still on hourly (everybody else got switched to salary), so they make sure I only put in 8/day. I get yelled at if I put in any more than that because OT has to be approved. granted I didn't put in that much OT, but the extra ~$4000/year would be nice.
 
I had a half day on the 23rd and I am back to work on the 3rd :thumbsup: BUT my parents have taken a holiday for about 10 days and I am covering the shop. I worked Wednesday Saturday 11hrs. Sunday and Monday off. Then Tuesday to Friday I'll be back at my real job 8:30am to 4:30pm then drive back home to work at my parents place till 9pm. My parents only take about 10 days off out of the whole year but they get Sundays off so me and my bros are covering.

I'm back to work in 20minutes.

Back when I worked at BB, I had to work multiple 12 hour days. I remember 2 years ago I had to work on the day after Christmas at 5:00am to 5:00pm then noon to midnight (plus half hour to completely close). The next day was a 5:00am to 5:00pm. So I got 4 hours of sleep that night! I ended up working 31st the same year from 8pm to midnight. Oh god that was a ****** Christmas.
 
Meh. Cry me a river. 13 hour shift yesterday, 13 hour shift today, and I get another wonderful 13 hour shift tomorrow...
