I have to retract my earlier post about Target...

I went to one of there SuperCenters, and they actually had a good selection of food grown in my state .😀

Good job Target,

Now why can't other stores be like this ?

the target here in town sucks. they crammed to much stuff into the store. trying to copy the super wal-mart we have.

Hmm, We don't seem to have that problem here. People who don't mind cockroaches on the floor go to Wal-Mart. People who want nice service go to Tom Thumb. The yuppies go to Target. That is pretty much Dallas .

We don't have Super Targets around here but we have a lot of the normal Target stores. They are basically a higher quality version of KMart and WalMart. We shop there quite often for miscellaneous things.

I am a Target employee and we recently got relocated to a new building. Its not a super target but one of the new prototype stores. Here in Columbus, IN target is definitely a step up from wal-mart. Many of our guests let us know how true this is! The employees at target definitely seem to be screened a bit better than other stores. At my store, I can't think of one person who I couldn't sit down with and have an intelligent conversation. Everyone seems to click together and get along well. Just my $.02. BTW I work in electronics and sales floor.

Regards

Ahh Target' (pronounced Tarjea)

Had loads of em in Nasvhille, but just got our first one here. Not a huge one, but hey.. they gotta start somewhere.
🙂

ya, targets pretty cool, the one by me has a nursery and its actually kept up decently! im a botany kinda guy 😉

i used to get my nevia after shave at vons and i saw it at target 4 dollars cheaper! it was 5 bucks at tarjea and 9 at vons.

I live in the DFW area as well. I flat out refuse to shop at Wal Mart. I prefer not to be even in the same zip code as one. When I do need to do shopping that requires a big box type store, i go to Super Target. Super Targets have heck of a decent selection, reasonable prices, clean, clean, clean, clean, compotent employees, and relatively speedy service. If I just need a few foodstuff groceries in small volumes, I usually hit Tom Thumb. If I need lots of stuff or other weird things, I head on over to Costco.

If I really want to splurge I head on over to Central Market. For those that do not know about Central Market, you are missing out on a very important and meaningful shopping experience.

I like Target. I think, as a huge corporate store chain, Target is just about the least evil of all of them....almost to the point of not being evil.
