Hmm, We don't seem to have that problem here. People who don't mind cockroaches on the floor go to Wal-Mart. People who want nice service go to Tom Thumb. The yuppies go to Target. That is pretty much Dallas .

I live in the DFW area as well. I flat out refuse to shop at Wal Mart. I prefer not to be even in the same zip code as one. When I do need to do shopping that requires a big box type store, i go to Super Target. Super Targets have heck of a decent selection, reasonable prices, clean, clean, clean, clean, compotent employees, and relatively speedy service. If I just need a few foodstuff groceries in small volumes, I usually hit Tom Thumb. If I need lots of stuff or other weird things, I head on over to Costco.
If I really want to splurge I head on over to Central Market. For those that do not know about Central Market, you are missing out on a very important and meaningful shopping experience.
