Sometimes I wonder about the people who vote. They stick an amendment on the ballot for Nov 4th to grant a statewide 3/8ths of % sales tax increase and 40% of the people havent even heard of it. Only 10% actually know what it is, but the kicker is 59% said they would vote for it. Guess this explains how tax increases have turned into marketing gimics in this state.
Hard to imagine how this state is in the top 5 nationally for taxation. /sarcasm People cant wait to vote yes to anything that sounds benign. Even if they have no idea what the tax increase really is for nor funds.
