I had to work late tonite and I have a meeting across the state at 9am tomorrow. The weather is getting worse as we speak. Would it be better to drive at night (I get out in an hour) or around 6am tomorrow?

I guess tonight, if you don't want to be late. is it an interstate? the road should be cleared

it ain't that bad, I was driving 450miles back to school at night. watch out for black ice tho, i hit a piece of it last time.

I'd leave in the morning, by then the road crews will have had time to do whatever they're going to do. At night you'll be out there with them.

DITTO! The salt truck is your friend 🙂

well I made the drive last night. What is usually around a 2 hour trip took me right about 4 hours. I got to the hotel just after 2. I spun out once when I got caught in a rut leading to an exit ramp. Luckily no one was around, so I just turned the car around and kept going.

Making my drive so much more fun was the fact that my meeting that is usually 4 hours turned into a six hour shootout with us and the reps. All of us were tired and the meeting was dragging on so we went off on the Nextel ladies about how crappy their service is.
