I have tissue stuffed up my nose as I type this

Damn cold. My nose is draining like a city sewer after the nearby damn collasped. It hurts, too, because I've been blowing my snout nonstop for 2 days. Puffs Extra Soft isn't. What's worse, the roof of my mouth is starting to itch! Bit of a cough, not too bad though. I've been sneezing madly today too which triggers a nasal waterfall, ugh. I've found it's better just to leave the tissue jammed up my beak rather than go through 1 every 5 seconds.

Other than standing upsidedown anyone have any tips to stop all this wonderful secretion? I'm dyin' ova here. 🙁

Drink plenty of cold medication untill you pass out. Sure you'll be out for a couple of days, but by the time you wake up you'll feel better. (Reminds me a SNL skit that had Chris Farely in it).

Turn off the computer, take some Nyquil, and get yourself into bed. Nothing cures the common cold faster than deep restful sleep.

Welp, cold farmosuedickals tend to prolong the agony...at least that's always been the case with me. So I try to just fight the tiny little virus particles with sheer force of will alone. The sleep/rest idea is a good one! Only gotcha there is when I lie down the fluid runs down my throat.

"It is the mucous that binds us." (where does that line come from??)
