I have this receiver and want to hook it up to a LCD monitor and PC speakers

New problem:
This is all for a friend of mine and i took over my receiver and hooked it all up, and before he just had the RJ 45 cable running into his tv with nothing in between
With this receiver have not been able to find any channel, any ideas?

Well, first you don't need a DVI cable AND DVI/HDMI adapter, you can just get a DVI->HDMI cable:

That'll save you a couple bucks.

As far as the audio goes, your speakers just use 1 male 3.5mm stereo plug, and that receiver (I can't see a picture of the back so I don't know) has 2 RCA L/R outputs? If so, then yes, it looks like you could use that RCA->3.5mm male cable, then connect that to your PC speaker cable with the coupler.

never mind its 4$ more, Ill just get the hdmi dvi cable
