I have this card (link inside), but need s-video!?!

I have recently updated to this graphics card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814121365
Its in a computer that has been connected to a CRT TV via S-video. The problem is that this card only has vga, dvi, and hdmi connections; the tv only has composite and s-video.

However, it states that it'll only work if the graphics device has tv-out through the vga. How can I tell if this adapter will do what I want with my graphics card without buying it first?

Without a compatibility list for that adapter it's hard to say for sure, but I've never heard of the 5000 series supporting S-Video over VGA. In fact I don't believe the 5000 series supports analog TV connections at all. You would need some kind of active adapter (read: expensive) to make it work.
