I have this art

You know, it seems I always have problems getting FC to run. I usually just give up because I like Ubuntu and Debian anyways. But there's been a couple time I thought I would try out the latest FC to no avail.

FC is usually pretty good with me, first time I run into issues. I had originally installed CentOS 5.2 but despite lot of troubleshooting and reinstalling the mysql-server package is botched and wont start. Something about a time out, it launches the process but does not actually start, so I ended up with an orphan process. I'll try FC9, or 10, or 11 or whatever they're at these days.

That is one problem I have with FC though, they release WAY too often, making it harder for programmers to actually support it. Microsoft actually has things right when it comes to OS releases. Only release once and a while. If Linux OS makers followed this route it would be great, as imagine how much more stable they'd be. To consider they release a FC every few months and it's more stable then a new windows OS, it's impressive really. I'm guessing the issue I'm having is due to VM environment, something it does not like.
