not very often, but every once in awhile I get these things where it's like the muscles in my arms or legs start to twitch. When it happens it's very noticeable, doesn't hurt but it feels weird, almost like there's something under my skin trying to get out. It just happened and I watched the movement on my arm. A few spurts of movement, a few seconds off then more twitching. Lasts a minute or 2 total.

always wondered what the hell this is exactly. Not even sure if my explanation makes any sense, it's hard explain exactly what's happening.

anyone following me?

haha gotta love ATOT, I expected these kind of answers, you should have a column in a local paper, people write into the one in ours and ask medical questions. His answers and boring and long, I'd love to see you give people medical advice.

thumbs up

I never thought much about it either, but today for some reason I did. I'm sure some of the Doctors on ATOT will tell me I'm dying of the Black Plague or something. I'll be honest I posted this question to get some crazy responses as much as to actually get some maybe real insight.

Ya I've had those occassionally, don't think it's a big deal. Ask a doctor next time you are sick and go in.

Do you work out a lot? Are you anxious?

Sounds like Benign Fasiculation Syndrome to me.

No, it IS BFS.

Ah jesus! He does not have "Benign Fasiculation Syndrome"

You just have a twitch! I get them every now and again, sometimes they last 5 seconds sometimes they are on and off for a couple of days, its normal... I get them, my friends get them, my family get them..

Don't post shit you don't know about and scare people!

I have something sort of related that drives me crazy. If I'm at all tired and in a cold environment, say below 50F, I shiver nearly uncontrollably. Is this some sort of vitamin deficiency? Or is it a normal thing? Or?
