I have the Zalman 9500 installed....

When I installed my Zalman 9500 I was all set to use the Zalman bracket......

well low and behold the staock intel heat sink bracket was the exact same bracket for the socket 478 heatsink.....so naturally I was saying to myself...MYSELF..hmmmmmm

Then after looking and relooking and comparing the 2 brackets...I went with the intel stock heatsink bracket.

Install was just a matter of messing with ther alignment of those 2 aluminum bars..it was a cinch!!

Its not an annoying . it just sounds like a fan on steriods!

That fan is probably the same one they use on their 7000 series. Too loud at full speeds. Good thing they include the Fan Mate (2).
