I have some vintage Yamaha stereo equipment but no idea how good it is. Comments?

In cleaning out my in-laws house, we found some my father in laws old audio equipment. Googling has not yielded a whole lot of info. Everything seems to work and looks to be in good condition.

The items include:

Yamaha M-50 natural sound stereo power amplifier

Yamaha C-70 natural sound control amplifier

Yamaha T-80 natural sound AM/FM stereo tuner

Yamaha K-1000 natural sound stereo cassette deck

Anyone have any idea how good this stuff is? Is it worth anything? How much would be a good price to sell each item for? Is this stuff considered high/mid/low end?

Any comments/advice would be great. Thanks in advance!

the M50 and C70 will be worth something to someone. 200$ ish maybe, they are from the early 80s and very well liked older amps

not sure about the tuner and cassette deck, but you should be able to google up something

This is where ebay comes in handy, if they aren't something you want to keep. Set a reserve if you want to keep them from going for nothing. Ebay has such a network if people, they will most likely go for a fair price, especially the amps.

M-50 is a 120 watt/channel stereo amp with nice power meters. Pretty good sound and worth a couple of hundred on Ebay.
C-70 is a nice preamp with parametric eq and a nice phono section for mc or mm cartridges. Worth a couple hundred.
T-80 is a nice tuner for those that still listen to radio. Worth at least a hundred bucks.
K-1000 I can't help you, I haven't listened to a cassette in years.
What's nice about this vintage equipment is not only does it sound good, it can be fixed and rebuilt by a skilled technician.
Modern electronics with all of the tiny surface mount parts, if it breaks-it's pretty much toast.

I HAD the exact some equipment from my military days even a laser disc player but could not find any buyers and get tired of dragging this stuff around over the years so its all gone now.

Dang. This thread reminds me that I still need to have my Sansui DB8080 fixed - the Dolby board is going bad, I think.

On top of that, my early-90s Sony DPL receiver is crackling and dropping channels at low volumes again. Time to bust out the electronics cleaner again.
