I have some?s about body peircing retainers and jobs.

Ok ya'll right now iv got three regular ear peircings one ear cartilage, one in my nostril, and my navel. But I really want to get a lower lip peircing with a labret. I don't have any retainers yet, and i wanted to know before i got that the lower lip peircing if I had a retainer in that a job would not reject me for my peircings b/c idk if the retainers totally hide the peircing or not. So if you've got the answers to my ? please give some advice.

First post, in a tech forum(irregardless that it's OT), and you are asking about piercings... You know, there are forums for that...

I've always found it odd that people will ask random questions like this in a forum dedicated to a completely different topic. Personally, I go to a forum fitting the question..

My guess would be someone reccomended her to here. Which was STUPID, because most of us don't have any input of merit.

You should go to a piercist and ask. What's so hard about that.

I wouldn't personally get that piercing as the whole will look odd and never heals completely after taking it out... so if you end up not liking the piercing you are stuck with a whole in your lip forever... I don't think you should worry about not getting a job over one piercing though because if they don't like that one they won't like any of them.

I think it's rare the labret looks good on someone. Reconsider. Just go with piercings that aren't visible in work clothes.

Short and to the point. If you're worried about getting a job, the general rule of thumb is that the fewer visable ones there are, the less you'll be dinged on a job application. Keep in mind that even remotely visable would be too visable in this case.
