these past 5 days i've had a rash on my chest and stomach. it never itches, but is getting worse. also it has moved to my arms but there it is kid of circular.

i have noticed that it is starting to go up my neck. should i got to the doctor?

does anyone have any advice? it would be a big help.

the strange thing is that it does not itch and otherwise i feel healthy.

In my profesional opinion...I think your going to die. Sorry but you only have 2 weeks to live, maybe not even that long.

No, that'd be the logical thing to do :)

Sorry, I'm a bastard ;) I'd say apply some Cortizone (sp?) until you can get to a doctor. But you should definitly get checked by a doctor before it gets serious.

If it isnt itching then why go to the doctor, just leave it alone and it will kill you soon enough, dont wste time at the doctors, go have fun;)

I'd certainly visit a doctor if I were you. If it turns out to be nothing serious, at least you no longer have to worry.

htwitis - are you doing any form of excercise that is making you sweat? If so the sweat might be activating an allergic reaction from the clothes that you are wearing... you you remember any form of contact to your neck or arms that would justify the blemishes?

You might just have a simple allergic reaction to something or another- because as you have stated, it is not itching and if its not itching then I don't think there is any form of a contageous rash on your skin...

If you were to have just said I have blemishes on my chest and stomach, then I would've said that it is simply an allergic reaction... but now you say that it is spreading towards your neck and arms... that is kind of confusing me... you might want to see a doctor just in case and ask him if you have an allergic reaction to anything - it might be something that you ate... or are eating...

Check out this thread.. it might be a little off the topic, but its something that happened to a buddy of mine.

Sweat, allergic reaction?

good luck

do you have any muscle or joint pain? is there a "center" to the rash?

Ever heard of fith disease? Read this

My son had this, he did not have the fever, or the joint pain, just the rash. It would lighten up and then come back. I think it lasted about two weeks for him.

well i just got back from the doctor were he looked at my rash, and did a blood test..

by the way what is with my viens. everytime they draw my blood they have to stick me at least 3 times. today they stuck that needle in my arm 3 times, and THEN decided to just do that needle poke the finger thing.

any way after the blood test the doc said it was an alergic reaction. also, he prescribed "methylprednisolone tablets" and "clotrimazole cream".

and yes i do work out .
i lift weights almost every night, and some times i had to use insect repelent during my work out ... so that might be what happened. but it is moving up might neck, and i'm not going to let it get to my face with college getting ready to start back.

also i would put up pics, but my crappy webcam would not show the rash i don't think since its almost the same color as my sun tanned skin. i might consider showing some streaming video at citizenX though.

It could be if you switched laundry detergents recently. The fragrance or chemicals could upset your skin.

BTW: clotrimazole is the main ingredient in Lotrimin and other athlete's foot-type medications.
