The crowd reactions seem so fake and contrived. Almost like they were coerced to act in some way that they were not confident in expressing.

Didn't notice much oddity from the band.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like the music is dubbed over the singing and some of the rear shot audience clips are digital. Watch the clapping too, it's not even close to the same pace as the song itself.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitas

Vitaly Vladasovich Grachyov; born 19 February 1979), known professionally as Vitas (Russian: Ви́тас, tr. Vitas, IPA: [ˈvʲitəs]) or as the Russian Chayanne, is a Russian singer. He is known for his unique head voice and for possessing a five-octave vocal range, which enables him to perform his trademark "turkey call" like in his song "The 7th Element".[1] His eclectic musical style incorporates elements of techno, dance, classical, jazz, and folk music. His song "Opera 2" and the music video for "The 7th Element"[2] have been forwarded over email and on various social networks frequently, accounting for much of his worldwide recognition.

You may think you want to know, but if you'd ever found yourself accidentally watching Russian porn ("accidentally" as in, you didn't realize it was going to be Russian porn:wink: of course), you might not be so sure you actually do want to know...

He has a very 80s sound. The first video is obviously dubbed and the audience reaction is what you would expect for a "studio audience" with overhead signs flashing "applause", "cheer", etc. I assume it is the Russian equivalent of the old Solid Gold show. He's not terrible but whoever transmongrified his falsetto needs to back off a bit.

As opposed to... What? A foot voice?

I believe head voice refers to the use of falsetto, as opposed to a throat or chest voice. I'm a baritone that can use falsetto to get into soprano ranges. I didn't even realize I was using falsetto - didn't know it was a thing until a few months ago.
