So, as part of freshman orientation this morning, all *8* of us incoming IST majors met up as a group. Your typical disjointed nerd bunch, 1 socially inept fat kid, 4 boring guys from Dover, me, a tall guy with a purple car that he thought was just a light gray when he bought it (on a cloudy day)

....and an 8/10 hottie.

Attempts at finding her on facebook have failed, and I was disarmed this morning (no camera). So sadly my ATOT Oath of Pics must be broken - ban me if you will. But take my word for it. SHE WAS HOT.

Chatted with her a little bit at lunch. She seems to actually know something. More than the males do, anyway. They were just like "OMG TEH PSP AND TEH CS!!!" - she was actually able to discuss what kind of computer she had without saying something stupid like "80 gigabytes of memory". And. She. Builds. Them. (and before you lambast me about starting a conversation about computers with a hotchick, SHE did that. I sat down, commented on the food, and she took it from there.) AND SHE'S HOT!

Amusingly, she seemed as damaged and shy as the guys did. We each had to talk about ourselves for 3 minutes - she managed about 15 seconds before hitting a wall. Even the fatkid(tm) was able to do at least 45 seconds. BUT SHE'S HOT

So - I fell in love today. What did you do?

She was probably fat as hell until last summer or something, therefore she was actually forced to develop a personality and intelligence before she bloomed and became attractive.
 
Play it cool, have some confidence and maybe you'll get somewhere with her. Don't act like an idiot like the other guys.

Tell her your USB port has a buffer overflow so windows media player encrypted the hard drive, so you need to come over to do your homework on her computer.
 
sounds like a future business/econ major to me. enjoy having her in your classes while you can (probably about 1 or 2 semesters).

I love how everyone thinks that the hot women or beautiful girls can't be geeks. it's not true, in college, there were at least 5 hot/beautiful girls to every 10 guys there.
