I have problems getting my print sharing to work...

I have 2 pcs right now, and I have the printer on the other one. So I want to print from my gaming pc. The problems I am having is making them network together so I can do the print sharing. Now I bet the problem is MY switch...

I thought I could use a switch and a router and it should be no prob, but I be that is what my problem is...

Help and tips would be cool thanks...

So what is the problem other than it not working? Your router most likely contains a switch as well, so the additional switch is unnecessary. If both computers recieved ip addresses from the router, and the printer is shared, all you have to do on the pc without the printer is browse with windows explorer to \\ip-of-pc-with-printer and choose the printer and connect to it.

The other switch is nescessary because I run one wire from that router to my room were my my ps2 and pc is at.

On the server machine you did share the printer right?

How did you install the printer on the client machine?

I installed the home network for both machines and than installed the printer in this one. Still nothing,

Did you share (by clicking on that printer icon and then clicking on sharing) the printer. If its connected by usb cable follow printer mfg's instructions
