I'm using a rMBP 13" right now and it weighs in at around 1.55 kilos. I'd want to cut that to at least to 1 kilo. I can go up maybe 0.1 to 0.2 kilos at max. That's my first condition. Second is battery life. I want massive amounts of it(given the constraints of weight, naturally). Everything else is secondary. No crap touchpads etc but doesn't have to be class-leading. Same with display. Don't care about price whatsoever. What are my options? I can import from anywhere in the world.

Let's go? Sounds more like... you go. We are not Google search, Siri or Cortana. What has your search left you? Then maybe after some of your work, we can criticize your selections.

Is the 12" MacBook not being considered for some reason? It's just under a kilo, and the battery life is respectable. There are systems with better battery life, but they are almost all heavier. Though, if you can import... There are some crazy thin/light/long-lasting laptops from Japan that are imported, here (http://www.dynamism.com/top-notebooks/nec-lavie-hz.shtml). It's slightly lighter than the MacBook, but the battery is about the same, and it's twice as expensive.

At that weight range you're probably looking at something like the surface 4 pro or macbook 12. They both get reasonable battery life, and weigh in at <1kg

a list of light laptopy things, hopefully it helps you.

edit: Lenovo sells the LaVie Z and Z 360 apparently for ~$1,200 & ~1,600 respectively. They're both sold out at lenovo, though they're available elsewhere.

1.224 kilos or 2.7 pounds = the top of the line Dell 13" XPS touch.

The smallest 13-inch on the planet with the world’s first InfinityEdge display

More screen, less to carry: The virtually borderless 13.3” QHD+ (3200 x 1800) InfinityEdge touch display , maximizes screen space by squeezing a 13-inch display in an 11-inch frame. With a bezel only 5.2 mm thin, weighing in at only 2.7 pounds and measuring a super slim 9-15 mm, the XPS 13 is exceptionally thin and light.

"Stay powered longer: Up to 18 hours of battery life standard. Add an additional 10 hours with the optional Dell Power Companion"

It also has a skylake cpu.
