My parents directly paid for the first 4 years, I had to stay an extra quarter and take loans from them for it, so about 4K at the moment. Not bad at all.

4k aint bad at all.

My daughter is 4, i just set up a college Savings plan for her. They take a little bit out of each check, tax free. I have to pay tax on it when i withdraw for her, but i only have to pay at her tax rate.

Hope your education comes in handy! I never finished, but my company is paying for me to take a bunch of cisco certifications right now.
