I have officially failed at getting NIN tickets on the radio.

I've been calling a local radio station since about 1pm. They said their office closes early (at 1pm) tomorrow because of the holiday, so they have to give out tickets today that they would otherwise be giving out tomorrow afternoon.

The phone either rang and rang (let it ring for 40 seconds before hanging up and trying again) or it was busy for a half hour straight. :frown:

Dammit, I want NIN tix :(

Should have let it keep ringing. You were probably on a switchboard as a little flashing button that they were about to press.

For 40 seconds? It may not sound like much, but 40 seconds is a gawd awful length of time to wait. I'll try again tomorrow morning, if I have time.

I've won stuff on the radio twice. First thing was skatepark tickets (didn't use em), and second was warped tour tickets. Both things were won at around noon, I'm assuming when no one was listening or calling in.

It's suprisingly hard to win crap on the radio.

Yeah it's very annoying. I'd stay on for like 3-4 minutes (put it on speakerphone if you've got one) just to see if that's the case. I've gotten through calling in to contests before after a LOT of rings. Just a thought, GL.

Oo, that's a good idea. I could hit speakerphone, then sprint back over to the phone from the lab if they pick up :Q (I'm at work during the day)
