I also like the more natural look, less makeup, against all the really tacky "modifications" some chicks are into - but this entire discussion (if it can even be called that) is just plain ridiculous.
Geekbabe, in my opinion has made it clear that she's decided to groom herself according to her professional status which, obviously has recently been increased (of which she's pleased, duh). So it's suddenly bad/evil/despicable/repulsive/undesireable if a woman in the professional workforce has appropriate attire? It is not uncommon for creatures of the female species to "have their nails done", or "have their hair done", or "have their (whatever else) done".
Everyone has their own preferences/tastes and opinions, and I happen to prefer a girl with
out breast/ass modifications/"enhancements" and one who doesn't cake on the makeup more than necessary - but even if geekbabe DID do ALL this stuff which some people dislike (but clearly, many don't) - that still doesn't unretardify this argument. She hasn't come in here "prancing" around like a ditzy 15 year old whore-looking wanna-be bimbo. She's obviously a professional making a worthwhile contribution to society.
And, by the looks of many threads on this forum, someone like her is needed around here, seeing as how there are so many "my gf dumped me!

" or "YAGT..." threads or threads relating to sadness/depression (some of which I've actually created or commented on, myself). It's good to hear that
someone is seeing positive outcome in their life and is being optimistic to the both near and not-so-near future.
Keep up the good spirit, Geekbabe.
Edit: Sorry for the excessive post, but I needed to let out some air myself.

And, I also have to comment - this thread's continuity is rather amusing.
