This is dumb...i had to be here till wed of next week and all week before new years, but for the most part here for the next two weeks with not a darn thing to do cept watch the server and make sure it dont go down so the guys on vacation have access to files.
So i got to thinking, i got a fast interenet connection, a pretty decent computer (2.8p4 2Gram/w FX5200 graphix), only me a graphix guy and the receptionist in the office, and nothing but time to kill to boss/managers come back to assign work.

So that being said, whats the best internet game out there right now apart from HL2 and WoW that doesn't require a pay subscription? I think i might go to BB for lunch and pick something out to "do" for the next couple weeks.
 
Go to work, get on PokerStars for a couple of hours. Then you walk around a bit so coworkers can see that you're there, then go home.

Why not work on something productive? Such as:

- Revamp the operations manual for your area.
- Update the call lists to ensure they are all current.
- Etc.

Trust me. Doing some of these kinds of "housework" activities during slow periods will get you noticed. You can be rest assured that your next raise will reflect the efforts that you put into such activities.
