Welcome to AnandTech Forums. Tell your "friend" the smart guys at AnandTech Forums are posting on the largest English language computer-oriented forums in the world. Neither of you seems to have any idea of how many of our members are registered from email addresses @microsoft.com, adobe.com, symantec.com, etc.
If any of them sees your post and reports it to their piracy department, what do you think we would do if they send us a legal demand for all the info we have about you, including your name, your email address @ksu.edu and any IP address you used to post on our forums? The answer is, we would give it to them. You may as well run naked in your local downtown area wearning only a sign, "Kick me. I am a software pirate."
This is definitely not the place to post about such topics.
