Hi, I really hope someone has some insight. Several months ago I built a new computer the the P6T Deluxe V2, Intel 920, In Win 1200 Watt PS, 12 GB of G.Skill DDR3 Trident, and Windows 7 64. For months all was great, then last week I started to notice that depending on reboot, the computer BIOS and windows system would show anywhere form 4 GB to 8 GB or RAM while CPUID would show all 12 GB. In response to that post last week, I flashed the BIOS with the lastest update, didn't fix the RAM issue, but all seemed to work fine. Beginning two days ago, Windows began to get slower and slower. I have Norton 360, Malwarebyte, RegistryBooster, etc. Ran all of them, no issues. I first tried to repair the OS. Didn't work. This morning, I wiped the SSD HD clean and did a clean install of Windows 7 64. Man, everything was running great, then about two hours ago, whenever I would try to open explorer for example to view the drives, it would take forever. The system monitor said that explorer.exe and rundll32.exe were not responding. I eventually did a reboot, now the BIOS takes forever to go through it steps. During reboot, ASUS Express Gate would always load first, giving one access to the internet, skype, etc, and then 10 seconds later, would begin to post. Now it skips the Express Gate and goes strait to the post and hangs for 10 minutes before loading Windows. I just returned from Radio Shack with a new CMOS battery, did not help. Any ideas? I'm at my wits end!!!

You will probably have more luck in the computer help forum, or one of the other PC forums.

This is not a troubleshooting forum - it is for highly technical discussions (of which troubleshooting a pc is usually not included).

I saw the thread title and came in see if someone else had already posted: "YOU'RE a towel!"

"RegistryBooster?" Seriously?

GTFO. Seriously. This is the "highly technical" forum.

I notice you haven't tried www.finallyfast.com and www.mycleanpc.com yet.
